OPNFV second release is available since March the 1st. Orange contributed to this version (ranked #3 for contributions) and set up OPNFV community labs.
The Moon Project, a user-friendly security management system designed to protect OpenStack cloud services, has been accepted as a new collaboration and development project by the Technical Steering Committee of the open-source community OPNFV (i.e. Open Platform for Network Functions Virtualization).
The Linux Foundation announced on September 30, 2014 the founding of this new Project. It will be a carrier-grade, integrated, open source reference platform intended to accelerate the introduction of new products and services in the Network Functions Virtualization domain. Orange is a Silver-level founding member of the project.
