Orange has recently published a Bash script that adds a new function for Shell programmers.
The feature can be used in the “Homer SIP Capture” platform: a SIP monitoring tool that helps to monitor and diagnose errors by collecting the SIP traffic, information about media QoS and logs from SIP nodes. The purpose of the newly published script is to send a string passed as parameter, encapsulated in a binary UDP packet, to a Homer capture node. The solution is an implementation of HEP3 protocol and has been published under L-GPL v2 license.
We are pleased to make this script available for the community. More information on the project: https://github.com/sipcapture/hepgen-bash.
